Robert John Hickey

Robert J. Hickey, 79, of Milford passed away on July 6 at his residence.

He was born in Milford; son of the late Bernard A. & Elizabeth (Brigham) Hickey. He had been a Milford resident for most of his life.  He was a graduate of the former St.Mary's High School in Milford and also attended Worcester Acadamy. He was a Graduate of Northeastern University School of Business. Robert had been employed as a social worker for New York City until his retirement. He had also been employed by the town of Wellesley.

Robert is survived by a brother Bernard A. Hickey Jr. and his wife Rosanne of Milford and a sister Elizabeth Mack of Natick, nieces & nephews and grand nieces & nephews.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, July 12 at 9:am from the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:am in St.Mary's Church, Winter St. Milford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 11 from 2 to 4:pm.
