Linda M (Smith) Gianetti

Linda M. (Smith) Gianetti, 71, of Milford died on October 12 at Advinia Care of Northbridge.

She was born in Milford; daughter of the late Donald and Anita (Demers) Smith. She was raised and educated in Milford and was a graduate of Milford High School.

Linda had been employed as a crossing guard for the town of Milford for twenty one years and was also an employee of the Stop & Shop. She was a member of the John W. Powers American Legion post #59 auxiliary and loved to do puzzle books.

Linda is survived by a daughter, Charlene Gianetti of Milford, a son, Anthony Gianetti, also of Milford, a brother, Brian Smith and his wife Donna Todd Smith, a sister, Laurie Smith and her wife Sherrie Autwell, three grandchildren, Leo Sacco, Julia and Dylan Sparks and her former husband Anthony Gianetti. She was predeceased by a sister Eileen Tomaso.

Linda's funeral will be held on Saturday. October 16 at 11:am in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford. Burial will follow in St.Mary's Cemetery in Milford. A visitation period will be held from 9 to 11:am prior to the service.
