Carol Elizabeth Conway

Carol E. Conway, 85, of Hopkinton, formerly of Milford died on November 17 at Milford Regional Medical Center.

she was born in Milford; daughter of the late Roy and Frances (Carter) Conway. She was a graduate of Milford High School and Burdett College.

Carol had been employed as the treasurer for the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham for 42 years, retiring in 1993. Previously, she had been employed by Avery-Dennison Co.

Carol was a lifelong member of the former Pine St. Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and served as treasurer for the Ladies Union. She was also a member of the former Granite chapter, O.E.S.

When she was younger she enjoyed traveling with her friend Rosemary Roche, especially to Wells Beach, Maine. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching television, especially cooking shows and most recently Pit Bulls and Parolees and was very fond of coffee ice cream.

Carol is survived by her nieces & nephews, Ken Hussey, Bonnie Lambert (Mark), Cindy Terrel (Rocky), Debbie Aaron (Phil), Phillip Hussey (Dena), Amy Beaudette (Brian), 13 grand nieces & nephews and a dear friend Patricia Berry and her family. She was predeceased by a sister Jean Hussey.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd at 10:am in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 9 to 10:am.
