Attilio P. Ferrucci, 95, of Milford died on October 8 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of 61 years to Lillian M. (Durgin) Ferrucci. He was born on his family's farm in Milford and lived there his entire life. His parents were the late Donato & Lusia (Simone) Ferrucci. He was educated in Milford schools and was a 1941 graduate of Milford High School.
Mr. Ferrucci was the owner/operator of the Ferrucci Egg Farm in Milford for a good portion of his life. He had also worked at the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale as a gear inspector for 21 years. Later, he had been employed a Fenwal in Ashland until his retirement. Mr. Ferrucci played the Tuba, he was a founding member of the Milford Musicians Union and a member of the Framingham Concert Band.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Michael Ferrucci and his wife Michelle of Milford, five grandchildren, Angela, Jennifer, Christina, Emily and Anthony Ferrucci, nieces & nephews. Attilio was predeceased by nine siblings, Mary Longo, Rose Trotta, Rudolph Ferrucci, James Ferrucci, Anthony Ferrucci, Carmella Ferrucci, Dr. Joseph Ferrucci, Josephine Capuzziello and Virginia Riccardelli.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 13 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main St. Milford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 12 from 5 to 8:pm in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford.
