Alfred G. Burkhardt, 83, of Mashpee formerly of Bellingham, died at his residence on June 7. Alfred is survived by a daughter Debra Carr of Mashpee and a son, Thomas Burkhardt of New Jersey, two sisters, Leslie LeSperance of Northborough and Valerie Fitchett. He was also pre deceased by another son, Bruce Burkhardt. He was born in Boston; son of the late William and Frances (Hickox) Burkhardt.

For many years Alfred was a professional horse trainer and had also owned a moving company. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

In accordance with his wishes; cremation will take place. No funeral services are planned.
