John Larsen Obituary

John T. Larsen, 86, of Milford, formerly of Riverside, RI died on June 2 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Ethel (Fontes) Larsen.

He was born in Minneapolis, MN; son of the late Charles & Elma (Krautkremer) Larsen. He was raised & educated in Seattle, WA and Phoenix, AZ.

John was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War serving on the USS Formoe and also stationed at the Newport, RI Navy base. For many years, John was a financial administrator for the Sun Oil Co. retiring in 1986.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, John M. Larsen of South Windsor,CT and Donald Larsen of Milford,MA, two daughters, Linda Hardison of Alton, NH, and Christine Larsen of Groton, MA, two sisters, Marie ( Charlotte)Jones and Doretta Dorman ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A committal service will be held on Thursday June 7 at 11:a.m. at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI, 02822.
