Mendon:

Carol Ann (Partridge) Joiner, 70, of Mendon, died on July 17 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard Joiner.

She was born in Biddeford, Maine; daughter of the late Robert N. & Mildred I. (Junkins) Partridge. She was raised & educated in Maine, Northbridge and Mendon. Carol had been employed as a teaching assistant in the Northbridge schools and also as a clerk for the Mendon Parks Dept. She was an avid gardener and loved needlecraft.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Randall S. Joiner and his wife April of Meriden, CT, two daughters, Laurie Herne and her husband John of Uxbridge and Nancy Storer and her husband Gary of Mendon, three brothers, Roger, Henry and Dennis Partridge, three sisters, Gloria Harper, Donna Schmidt and Barbara DeShaies, twelve grandchildren, Hannah Herne, Amy, Michael, Lisa, Diana, Ethan and Kimberlee Storer, Peyton, Jadyn, and Daniel Joiner and Ariel and Kylee Joiner. Carol was predeceased by a son Richard Joiner Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 20 from 4 to 7:pm in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 congress St. Milford. A funeral service will be held at 7:pm following the calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
