Joseph Cosentino Obituary

Joseph J. Cosentino, 92, of Milford died at his residence on June 13. He was the husband of Lucia (DeBartolomeis) Cosentino. He was born in Milford; son of the late Salvatore and Josephine (Liberto) Cosentino and had been a lifelong resident.

Mr. Cosentino had been employed as a custodian for the Milford public school system. Prior to that, he had been employed at Milford Tool & Dye, The former Draper Corporation in Hopedale and Timex in Ashland. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford and the Lawrence Heron chapter of Disabled American Veterans.

In addition to his wife Joseph is survived by a son, Salvatore Cosentino of Milford, a daughter, Josephine Albertelli of Uxbridge, Three grandchildren, Lisa Doherty and her husband Kevin, Stephen Albertelli and his wife Catherine, Daniele Albertelli, two great grandchildren, Lucia and Ava Albertelli, neices & nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his other siblings, Eleanor Ruscitti, Catherine Tocci, Ralph Cosentino , Fay Cosentino, Vincent Cosentino and Rose Cosentino.

His funeral will be held on Monday, June 19 at 11:am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church , 5 East Main St. Milford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A visiting period will be held prior to the funeral from 9 to 10:30 am in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford.
