Glenn Larson Obituary

Glenn A. "Pickles" Larson, 85, of Mendon died unexpectedly at his residence on December 14. He was the husband of Elaine (Harris) Larson to whom he was married for sixty two years.

He was born in Milford; son of the late Rudolph and Doris (Baker) Larson. He was raised & educated in Milford and was a graduate of Milford High School.

Following graduation, Glenn went to work at the former Scott Ahearn Chevrolet in Milford. Later on he started his own business; Larson's Automotive in Milford.  Some years later he moved the business to Mendon where he also started another business; Larson's Auto Body.

Glenn was an avid snowmobiler and spent much time at their camp in Strong, Maine and later Emden Maine. He also collected and sold antique cars.

Glenn was a loyal member of the Milford American Legion Baseball Club. His whole family was so involved that an annual award was named after his family called the "Larson Award". 

What Glenn enjoyed most was spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He created many fond memories that his family will always remember.

Glenn served as a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard for several years.

In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by a son, Glenn Douglas Larson and his wife Heather of Milford, a daughter, Kim E. McGee and her husband Peter of  Freedom, New Hampshire, four grandsons, James P. McGee, Michael H. McGee, Brian E. Larson and Jason D. Larson, nieces & nephews.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 20th at 11:am in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford. Burial will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral from 9 to 11:am.
