Milford:

Virginia Nora (LaMora) Palmer,88, of Milford died Friday, November 18 at Milford Care & Rehabilitation. She was the wife of Russell Palmer.

She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire; daughter of the late Earl & Julia (DeGroot) LaMora. She was raised in Milford and was a graduate of Milford High School. She was a homemaker 7 mother and had also been employed by the former Grant department store and the former Seaver's Express; both of Milford. She had been a member of the first United Methodist Church in Milford and had taught Sunday School there many years ago.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons David Palmer of Milford, Robert Palmer and his wife Pamela of Brewster,MA, and Bruce Palmer and his wife Annette of Whitinsville, a brother Robert LaMora of Milford, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by another brother Lawrence LaMora.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 21 at 11:a.m. in the Watson Colonial Funeral Home, 24 Congress St. Milford. burial will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, November 20 from 2 to 5:p.m.

Virginia's family would like to acknowledge the staff at Milford Care & Rehab. for the wonderful care and comfort she received over the last few years. It was greatly appreciated.
